Temperatures across Kiowa County Monday are expected to be 10 degrees warmer than Sunday’s highs.

Skies will be mostly sunny throughout the day as the high temperature reaches the mid-70s for most of the county. Arlington could touch the 80s.

Winds will generally be out of the south, starting in the 5-10 mile per hour range Monday morning before increasing to 15-25 during the afternoon. Haswell and Towner could see gusts as high as 20 mph later in the day.

Overnight, temperatures are predicted to fall to the upper 40s.

Rain is not expected through mid-week, with potential for thunderstorms to return Thursday and Friday.

Highs throughout the week will be in the mid-70s to low 80s.

Elsewhere in Colorado, flood warnings are in effect for parts of Mineral, Rio Grande, and Conejos counties. Flood advisories are in place along portions of the Gunnison, Mancos, La Plata and San Juan Rivers in western Colorado.

A flood watch is in effect through Wednesday morning for parts of Costilla, Alamosa, Rio Grande, Conejos and Saguache counties. Minor to moderate flooding is possible.

In northwest Colorado, a late-season freeze warning is in effect for parts of Jackson, Moffat and Rio Blanco counties Sunday night through 9:00 a.m. Monday. Temperatures may dip as low as 27 degrees.
