LAMAR ORDINANCE TO LEVY AND COLLECT TAXES

AN ORDINANCE TO LEVY AND COLLECT TAXES IN THE CITY OF

LAMAR, COLORADO, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 2026.

    BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAMAR,

COLORADO:

    SECTION 1.  That for the purpose of meeting all general operating expenses of the City of Lamar during the 2026 budget year, there is hereby levied a tax of 13.239 mills upon each dollar of the total valuation for assessment of all taxable property within the City of Lamar for the year 2025.

    SECTION 2.  That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to immediately certify to the County Commissioners of Prowers, County, Colorado, the mill levy for the City of Lamar as hereinabove determined and set.
