Senator Cory Gardner (R-CO) announced Friday (July 15, 2016) the Economic Development Administration (EDA) awarded Pueblo, Colorado $1,031,960 to expand the Pueblo Convention Center. According to the EDA, the grant will “create 150 jobs and leverages $85 million in private investment.”

“I’m pleased Pueblo will receive over one million dollars to expand the Pueblo Convention Center and build a 45,000 square foot Exposition Hall,” said Gardner. “This grant will create 150 jobs and is a perfect example of a public-private partnership that will bring $85 million in private investment to the community. I will continue to advocate for Colorado locals at the federal level and ensure our communities receive the support they deserve.”
