BOARD MEETING

December 11, 2023

The Kiowa County Hospital District Board met in special session on December 11, 2023, at 4:00 pm at the Cobblestone Inn.

District Board members present were:  Mary Eikner, Doug Uhland, Karl Eikenberg, and Pam Cole.  

Others present:  Beth Bell, Shannon Dixon and Dr. Erik Ritch.

CALL TO ORDER

The meeting was called to order by Karl Eikenberg, Vice Chairman of the Board at 4:00 pm. 

AGENDA

Pam Cole made a motion to approve the agenda and Mary Eikner seconded it.  All aye.

PUBLIC COMMENT

There was no public comment.

EXECUTIVE SESSION

A motion was made by Doug Uhland to go into executive session for contract negotiations pursuant and as permitted by CRS 24-6-402(4)(e).  Pam Cole seconded the motion.  All aye.

Executive session convened at 4:01 pm and was returned to regular session at 5:20 pm.

A motion was made by Mary Eikner to move forward with offering Dr. Erik Ritch a position with KCHD.  Doug Uhland seconded the motion.  All aye.

PUBLIC COMMENT

There was no public comment.

ADJOURNMENT

Mary Eikner made a motion to adjourn the meeting.  Pam Cole seconded the motion.  All aye.  The meeting adjourned at 5:22 pm.
