Sunday, December 11, 2016, at approximately 1815 hours, Kiowa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 600 Block of Highway 287, Eads, to locate a wanted party, Travis Collins. Deputies located Collins and he was taken into custody. He was transported to the Prowers County Jail where he is being held on a warrant for Failure to register as a Sex Offender out of Prowers County, Colorado. He is being held on a $5,000 bond.

Everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
