Friday, July 12, 2019, Deputies contacted a vehicle for speeding 81 miles per hour in a posted 65 mile per hour zone. Upon further investigation, deputies discovered the driver, Rowdy Summerlin, had a cancel/denied driver’s license. Deputies issued Summerlin a summons in violation of C.R.S. 42-4-1101(1) Speeding, and 42-2-138(1)(a) Drove motor vehicle when license cancel/denied.

Friday July 12, 2019, Deputies contacted Joseph Layman. Layman was charged with Violation of Colorado Revised Statues 18-9-116.5 Felony Vehicular Eluding, 42-4-1301(1)(a) Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs, 42-2-138(1)(a) Drove (motor/off-highway) vehicle when license revoked, 42-4-1401(1) Reckless driving, 42-4-1007 Failed to drive vehicle in single lane, 42-4-1013(1) Open alcoholic beverage container, and 42-4-1101(1) Speeding 10-19 MPH over the Posted Speed zone.

Thursday, July 18, 2019, Deputies contacted John Lynch. Upon further investigation, Lynch was arrested for Violation of Colorado Revised Statues 18-6-401(7) Child Abuse, and 18-3-204(1)(a) Third Degree Assault. Lynch was taken to the Bent County Jail and held on a $1,000 bond.

Thursday, July 18, 2019, Deputies contacted a vehicle for speeding 71 miles per hour in a posted 30 miles per hour zone. Deputies issued the driver, Gregory Bailey, a summons in violation of Colorado Revised Statutes 42-4-1101(1).

Monday July 22, 2019, Deputies contacted Heath Farrar. Deputies confirmed Farrar had a warrant for his arrest and was taken into custody. Farrar was transported to the Bent County Jail and was held on no bond.

Wednesday, July 24, 2019, Deputies contacted Joshua Caddick. Upon further investigation, Caddick was arrested for Violation of Colorado Revised Statues 18-9-111(1) Harassment and 18-6-800.3(1) Domestic Violence. Caddick was taken to Bent County Jail and was held on no bond.

Wednesday, July 30, 2019, Deputies contacted Todd Larrew driving. Upon further investigation, Larrew was arrested for a Warrant out of Prowers County for Failure to appear. Larrew was also issued a summons for Violation of Colorado Revised Statues 42-2-138(1)(a) driving while his license is suspended. Larrew was taken to the Bent County Jail and held on a $1000 bond.
