• Undersheriff Swanson pulled a semi over that had its wheels locked up on Highway 287 MM 113.
• 3:34 PM – Warrant - Eads, CO 
• Deputy Marlow and Deputy Negley responded to the 1300 block of Kerr Street to attempt to locate a wanted person. Deputy Marlow and Deputy Negley located Brandon Kaufmanfelker and took him into custody on a Failure to Appear Warrant.  Kaufmanfelker was transported to Bent County Jail and held on a $16,000 cash only bond. 
• 8:26 PM - Public Service - Chivington, CO
• Deputy Marlow and Deputy Negley did a motorist assist for a broken-down vehicle on Highway 96 MM 180. The driver was calling for her own tow. Marlow and Wilms cleared the scene.
• 10:15 PM - Traffic Problem - Eads, CO
• Deputy Marlow and Deputy Negley responded to Loves for a report of multiple Semi trucks blocking traffic in the parking lot. Marlow and Negley requested the trucks move to a parking spot or vacate premises.

February 4, 2022

• 1:39 PM - Traffic Stop - Highway 96- East
• Deputy Marlow and Deputy Negley made a traffic stop and issued a citation for 89 MPH in a posted 65 MPH zone.
• 3:05 PM - Civil problem - Eads, CO
• Deputy Marlow and Deputy Negley responded to a report of a dog theft at the 1300 block of Kerr. Upon arrival Marlow and Negley deemed the incident a civil issue. 
• 4:49 PM - Traffic Problem - Eads, CO
• Deputy Marlow and Deputy Negley responded to a report of a semi truck blocking the entrance/exit to Loves parking lot. Driver was located and moved his truck.

• Deputy Marlow and Deputy Negley made a traffic stop and issued a citation for 79 MPH in a posted 65 MPH zone.

• Corporal Murdock and Deputy Wilms made a traffic stop and issued a warning for going 10-19 MPH above posted speed and failure to drive in a single lane.

• Corporal Marlow and Deputy Negley were called to a suspicious person on the side of the highway. Marlow and Negley were unable to locate the vehicle.

• Corporal Marlow and Deputy Negley  were called to the 1200 Block of Luther Street for  a vehicle unlock.

• Corporal Marlow and Deputy Negley responded to Highway 287 on a report of a semi truck smoking while traveling southbound. Marlow and Negley were unable to locate the semi truck. 
• 2:00 PM - Public Service - Eads, CO
• Corporal Marlow and Deputy Negley responded to a call about a semi missing two rear wheels. Marlow and Negley initiated a motorist assist and escorted the semi truck to Loves. 
• 2:14 PM - Agency Assist - Eads, CO
• Corporal Marlow and Deputy Negley responded to a report of a possible diabetic seizure at Loves. Marlow and Negley assisted EMS.
• 4:44 PM - Civil problem - Eads, CO
• Corporal Marlow and Deputy Negley responded to the 1200 block of Luther Street for a report of Theft. Upon arrival Marlow and Negley deemed the situation to be a civil issue.

• Corporal Marlow and Deputy Negley responded to the rest stop for someone who wanted to turn in a found property to a deputy.  Property was documented and destroyed.
