Dear Parents and Community Members,

First, we would like to sincerely thank you for your continued support in helping remove aluminum waste from our community each year. Your participation truly makes a difference, and we are so grateful for a community that consistently shows up for our students and our school.

National Honor Society is built on four pillars: Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character. Each year during our aluminum can drive, I see our students live out the pillar of Service in a very real way. They bundle up on cold winter days, sort and weigh bags of cans, and help transport them for recycling. It may not be the most glamorous task, but they take pride in the work and always find ways to make it fun.

This year’s competition was incredibly close, with the winner determined by just 2 pounds. Congratulations to our Kindergarten class for taking first place. Third grade earned second place, and fourth grade came in third. We are proud of all of our students for their effort and teamwork.

Thank you again for your continued support and for helping us make a positive impact in our community.

Sincerely,

LaDawne Britten
