Obituary - Jacquelin L. Kirmer

Jacquelin L. Kirmer, 83 died Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City. She was born October 31, 1932 the daughter of Theron King & Frances Agnes (Chamberlain) Fluke.
Jacquelin was a member of the Girl Scouts of USA, the Eagle’s Auxiliary of Garden City, and the Women of the Moose of Dodge City. She enjoyed playing cards. A homemaker, Jacquelin also worked for 5 years with the Girl Scouts and for 6 years at the Kearny County Treasurer’s office in Lakin.  
On August 12, 1950, she married Gene Bailor in Eads, Colorado. Jacquelin later married Robert Kirmer on October 28, 1994 in Cripple Creek, Colorado. He survives. Other survivors include 5 children Beverly Sammons of Denver, Co., Sue & husband Jerry Roth of Garden City, Ks., Sandy & husband Doug Ferguson of Burleson, Tx., Tab & wife Jeanine Bailor of Bel Aire, Ks., and Darla & husband Dan Duboy of Pueblo, Co.; 4 step-children Doug Kirmer of Salt Lake City, Ut., Robert Kirmer of Wichita, Ks., Craig Kirmer of Salt Lake City, Ut., and Janet Nelson of Midland, Tx.; 12 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great Great Grandchildren; and 6 Step-Grandchildren. Jacquelin is preceded in death by her first husband Gene Bailor; her parents; a brother Richard Fluke; and a sister Cathy Adams.
A private family service will take place at a later date. There will be no calling hours. The family request memorials given to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital in care of Garnand Funeral Home of Garden City.
