- The Haswell Post Office facility will be operated on a contract bases starting July 30.

- The Eads American Legion defeated Walsh Legion, and Eads Merchants defeated Lamar in a double header played on the local diamond.
100 Years Ago - June 25, 1926
- Booster Day – June 26 – Eads - Everything Free - Foot Races, Horse Races, Ball Game, Catch the Greased Pig, Horseshoe Game, Tug-o-War- Ballon Ascension and Parachute Drop - Picture Show at La Cinema - Free Dance at Night.
- Trains no. 11 & 12 now stop at Eads and Ordway. This service was granted to the Eads people thru the courtesy of the Missouri Pacific officials
