- Nursing Home News- LaVerne Fischer: We celebrated St. Patrick’s Day by pinning green shamrocks on all the residents. In the afternoon Angel Food cake with green topping and green punch was served.
50 Years Ago - March 26, 1976
- Washington County maintained the leading winter wheat producing county in Colorado in 1975. Kiowa County slipped from third in production to eighth.
75 Years Ago - March 30, 1951
- The Pueblo Dodgers are to hold an exhibition game at Eads.
- Passing of House Bill 35 gives the commissioners the authority to have land worked and charge it against the property if owners will not do the work themselves to help stop erosion on their own land.
100 Years Ago - March 26, 1926
- The Town of Eads, in conjunction with Eads merchants, have taken steps toward building a campground. The location to be on Maine Street south of the tracks just north of Jackson’s Dairy.
- A U.S. Army plane lighted in Arlington in the pasture near the schoolhouse. They were on their way to Lamar to inspect a landing field.
- Sunday an equinox storm descended on the country, which was in the form of nearly an inch of rain.
