Monday around12:40 a.m., a business in the Town of Sheridan Lake was burglarized according to a social media post by the Kiowa County Sheriff’s Office.

During the course of the investigation, deputies received information about the identity of people involved. KCSO has not identified those people.

The Prowers County Sheriff’s Office located a vehicle matching the description related to the burglary, and deputies made a traffic stop near County Road MM and 11.5. One person was taken into custody. 

The investigation remains active.
