NEW BUSINESS

Dan Richards was here to give some Insite on the water shares. He told the board that there were 36 shares. 25 shares were for Mortenson to use and 11 for the town. Mortenson has 125 acre feet to haul, they have hauled 30 acre feet so far. Dan mentioned that Mortenson would be willing to pay $2.00 per 1000, that would total $1800.00 a week, $300.00 dollars a day and it will take them about 270 days to Haul. That would come out to $83,000 is what we would bring in. Junior did mention that nothing has changed since 2018 in depth of the well.

Jesse said no water should be sold to anyone outside the town limits. He said that he thinks that it states that in the original contract.

Executive- 5:45

A motion was made to retract what the board voted on at the May 12th meeting to allow Mortensons not to pump after the one share and the board wouldn’t accept any more shares. Junior McDowell made the motion. Dennis Pearson seconded. For it was Tim Trosper and opposed was Jeff Lane and Jesse Deines.

Meeting adjourned at 6:15 P.M.
