This September 23, Lamar Community College will be offering a one-day, noncredit course for those interested in obtaining their CDL licensure.  The training will be held 8:00am to 6:00pm at the LCC Equine Center.

This is a training, not the official CDL exam.  It will cover the written test, pre-trip test, and the driving test itself.

The class will be taught by Oran Packard, an instructor who previously administered the official test.  Through his expertise, students who complete this course should be prepared to take the official test and pass without issue.

The cost to attend the training is $175. Students must be 18 to participate.

September 18 is the deadline to sign up for the CDL training.  The class is limited to ten students, so anyone interested in participating is encouraged to sign up as soon as possible.  Another course may be offered if there is enough interest.

To sign up for the course, email Greg Cash at gregory.cash@lamarcc.edu and include your name and CDL in the subject line.  For additional information, email Greg Cash or call 719.336.1628.
