Frederick Joseph Dorenkamp was born January 20, 1932, south of Holly to Joseph and Amelia (Boerner) Dorenkamp. He passed away April 17, 2022, at his home in Holly at the age of 90.
Fred was united in marriage to Norma Tefertiller August 6, 1950. To this union they were blessed with eight children.
Fred and Norma operated Dorenkamp Rodeo Company from 1980 until 1993.

The life of Ronnie Sorter will be celebrated January 15, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. at the Praise Community Church in Eads.
Viewing and visitation will be held Friday, January 14, 2022, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Eads.
Mr. Sorter passed away at the Holly Nursing Care Center in Holly.

Funeral services for Tracy D. Smith will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 6, 2021, at the Lamar Christian Church. Burial will follow at the Holly Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 5, at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Eads.
Tracy was born July 14, 1971, in Syracuse, Kansas. She passed away at her home in Eads August 1, 2021, surround by her family.
Games will be held at Holly High School Friday, June 18.
Winner of 6:30 game advances to semifinals June 23 @ University High School in Greeley.

William M. Willhite was born on May 1, 1932 in a farmhouse South of Holly to John H. and Louise M. (Barth) Willhite. He departed this life, surrounded by family, January 14, 2021, at the age of 88.
Bill attended school at a one room schoolhouse until the family moved into town.
Rodney S. Shivers, Jr.

Rodney Shivers, Jr., was born to Rodney Sterling Shivers Sr. and Frances Pearl Prewitt Shivers in Cleveland, Mississippi, March 18, 1954. Rodney was the oldest child, having a younger brother, Jeffery, and a younger sister, Stacey. Growing up in a farming family, Rodney was helping on the farm from a young age and fell in love with raising crops from the soil.
