Kiowa County Road & Bridge has multiple full time and part time job openings for Road & Bridge Equipment Operators in each district. Preferred applicant would have a CDL or be able to obtain one. Heavy Equipment experience preferred but not required. Positions start at $16.83 - $17.55 per hour DOE. 40 hour work week Monday - Thursday. Kiowa County has a full time job opening for a Maintenance Worker.  Valid driver's license is required. Duties include general maintenance, janitorial, lawn care, snow removal and basic repairs. Position could be part time or seasonal if preferred.  Full-time starts at $16.00.  Great Benefits including; paid holidays, health & life insurance and retirement!

Prairie Pines Auxiliary to host Hawaiian Luau

The Prairie Pines Auxiliary will be hosting its first annual themed party.  This party will be many things, as it will serve as a kickoff to raise awareness of the Auxiliary and our purpose, and to start our yearly membership drive.  It will be a fundraiser to help provide things that are needed at the facility by residents and staff. It will be a time of socializing and fun!!  

This year the theme of the party is Hawaiian Luau.  The event will be held July 8, 2023. It will begin at 4:00 p.m. and run through 8:00 p.m.
