Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, October 17, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. at the Kit Carson Cemetery in Kit Carson, Colorado.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brown Funeral Home.
**Grades 2-5 will be receiving a 2020-21 Day Planner from the school.

Mrs. Holland passed away at her home in Kit Carson. Funeral services are pending.

Constance Louise Weber
May 5, 1959 - May 27, 2020
A Funeral Mass for longtime Trinidad resident Constance Louise Weber will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kit Carson with Reverend Jason Keas as Celebrant.
A Rosary service will be held prior to the mass at 10:00 a.m. The Rite of Committal will follow the Mass at the Kit Carson Cemetery.
Graduation will be conducted in the Prairie Park and will consist of graduates, superintendent, one board member and a few family members. Social distancing will be honored, and anyone who is feeling ill will be asked not to attend.
Anyone who would like to honor the graduates are encouraged to park along Main Street, Church Street, or Park Street June 7 before 2:30 p.m. as the seniors will be paraded on a flatbed trailer for about 15 minutes after the ceremony.
Note: Kit Carson School District has moved its graduation date, previously announced as May 10, to June 7.

William Todd Benson
July 5, 1970 - April 13, 2020
William Todd Benson was born in Germany July 5, 1970.
Todd visited several other countries and locations within the United States throughout his life, with his walk with God coming to an end Monday evening, April 13, 2020. Todd no longer walks with the Lord, for he is dancing with Him forever more.

March 30 is approaching fast and your professional educators are hard at work developing lesson plans that will include eLearning.
These lesson plans may include Zoom meetings, online curriculum, using our Microsoft 365 system, email, online programs, DOJO, and other needed materials to make this situation as smooth as possible.
Please remember these are new times for your teachers too. There will be some trial and error, but if doctors get to practice medicine, we can practice until we get it right too.

Sherry Emmert, 71, of Kit Carson passed away March 5, 2019, at her home in Kit Carson.
Sherry was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Bill and Margie Cahill August 17, 1948. She married Charles Emmert, Jr. March 30, 1976 in Eads. She worked at the Kiowa County Health Department until her retirement.
