Lamar Community College in Prowers County, Colorado, has announced honors lists for the spring 2021 semester.

Lamar Community College students have the benefit of getting a college education from anywhere and for the same price as it would cost them to attend in-person. 

Lamar Community College (LCC) will be holding a virtual information session on available scholarships and financial aid at the college July 8, 2021, at 6:00 p.m.

The Lamar Community College Foundation has funded numerous scholarships this year, with more available.

Lamar Community College (LCC) graduates from the class of 2021 and the class of 2020, which was unable to have an in-person ceremony last year because of the COVID-19 pandemic, were recognized during the 82nd Annual Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 8. 

Lamar Community College (LCC) nursing graduates were honored May 7 during a Nurse Pinning Ceremony, the culminating event that celebrates the students' completion of their studies and ability to begin working professionally.  

Prospective students and their families are invited to attend an open house at Lamar Community College this week.

Lamar Community College (LCC) students and employees who are struggling have a variety of supportive services at their fingertips. All they need to do is ask. 

LopesCares Coordinator Susan Frankel is determined to help support the well-being of students and staff at LCC. Along with the work of her predecessor, Dr. Rosalind Smith, and the support of the college, LCC has services to ensure that students and employees of LCC can be successful.

Lamar Community College students are eligible for a whole host of scholarships to help pay for their education
