I hope everyone had a great Christmas holiday and are now looking forward to a fantastic New Year in 2020. We don't do much for celebrating on New Year's Eve, but we did stay up and welcomed in the new year.

Can you believe December is here already and Christmas will be here before we know it? I can blame the fast passing of time on old age - what's your excuse?

My brother Doug would have been 71 years old today, December 1. Doesn't seem possible he's been gone for 33 years this coming January 2020.

We enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner and visiting at the home of my sister, Jerene, and her husband, Ian DeBono. Other guests were Chad DeBono of Lamar and Jason, Gina, Dexter and Jett Dechant of Kit Carson.
