ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR A PART TIME POSITION

The Town of Kit Carson is accepting applications for a part time position for the summer. Up to 30 hours a week variable hours, Duties will be checking the water plant and sewer lagoon on weekends and holidays, mowing and other miscellaneous jobs as assigned. Position pays $14.42/hour with no benefits package.

TOWN OF KIT CARSON JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR

The Town of Kit Carson is currently accepting applications for the position of Public Works Director. This is a year-round, full-time position with benefits in accordance with the Town’s Personnel Policies. The current starting salary range is $45,000. To 50,000. DOQE.

Duties consist of maintaining water and sewer systems, Streets and parks, community building and shops. Must attend monthly Board meetings and training as required. Zoning enforcement officer and other duties as assigned. Class C water License, Class 1 distribution and collections certificate and class D sanitation license are required. Training may be available if some certifications are lacking.

Applicants must be able and willing to perform physical labor and must be flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays when needed.
