5th Annual Pedal the Plains Poster Art Challenge

The Denver Post Pedal the Plains Bicycle Tour is calling all artists to be a part of the 5th annual Poster Art Challenge! We’re looking for one artistic poster to represent the 2016 Pedal The Plains Bicycle Tour. The winning poster will be sold at the event.

The poster contest winner will receive a bike donated from Project ReCycle, a framed poster courtesy of Frame de Art and recognition of their poster across all Pedal The Plains social media networks and website. A portion of the proceeds for every poster sold will be donated to the winner’s charity of choice.

Contestants can submit their artwork now through July 29th. All entries will continue on to the voting process through social media. The Facebook voting procedure will take place from August 1st – 12th. Friends and family can vote for posters by “liking” the creative on our Facebook page. The final poster will be chosen based on the number of likes received and a panel of judges. The winner will be contacted between August 15th – 17th and announced on our social media networks on the 19th. Artists may submit up to three poster entries.

Instructions and Guidelines:

 _The poster must measure 18” x 24”, plus a 1/8” bleed on all sides (finished size will be 18.25” x 24.25”)

 _Full color or black and white are accepted

 _We accept PDF or JPG file formats at 18" x 24" with at least 150dpi

 _Must incorporate the following details, but the items do not have to be prevalent:

o PTP logo

o Town names

o Dates of event
