Adrienne Yates sworn in as Kiowa County Clerk and Recorder

Thursday, Adrienne Yates was sworn into office as the Kiowa County Clerk and Recorder by Tarryn L. Johnson, District Court Chief Judge for the 15th Judicial District.

Yates was appointed by Kiowa County Commissioners at their regular meeting held August 28 replace former clerk Delisa L. Weeks, who passed away August 15. She will serve until the next general election, which will be held November 3, 2026.

Weeks was serving her in her third term as Clerk and Recorder at the time of her death.
