Cheyenne County deputies seek vehicle in hit-and-run investigation (updated)

The Cheyenne County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help identifying a silver Toyota sedan believed to be involved in a hit-and-run early March 1 in Cheyenne Wells.

According to a public flier released by the sheriff’s office, the driver of the vehicle is wanted for questioning regarding a hit-and-run that occurred in the early morning hours in front of the Knights of Columbus Hall in Cheyenne Wells.

Authorities described the vehicle as a silver Toyota sedan. An image included in the flier shows front-end damage to the passenger side of the vehicle.

Anyone with information about the vehicle or its driver is asked to contact the Cheyenne County Sheriff’s Office at 719-767-5633. Tips may remain anonymous.

The sheriff’s office urged residents to share the information to help identify the vehicle.
