Colorado Parks and Wildlife leftover big game hunting licenses go on sale Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Mountain Time, offering hunters a chance to purchase remaining limited licenses without spending preference points.

Leftover licenses are the limited licenses remaining after the primary and secondary draws are completed. They can include reissued big game licenses. Available species include deer, elk, pronghorn, and bear.
