Happy Easter everyone!! Hope all of you had a blessed day. Dick, Kyle and I joined my sister, Jerene, and husband, Ian, and my niece, Gina Dechant, and her family for dinner at Ian and Jerene's home in Granada. The weather was beautiful, and we enjoyed sitting out on the deck visiting and watching the little guys play.

Susan Greenfield went to Sterling to spend Easter weekend with her family. Friday, she and her dad drove down to Otis to watch Alex Schmidt play baseball with the Eads team. Otis is no longer undefeated as Eads won one game and Otis won one. Sunday, Susan's sister, Sami, from Bennett, joined them for Easter dinner.

Easter weekend guests of Denis and Theresa Weber's were Corby, Kathy and Lexie Knutson; Roger, Linda and Nicole Cochran; Tara, Josiah and Aryanna Wately; Connie Weber and Jerry Weber.

Cheri Hopkins hosted Easter dinner for her daughter, Christy Hopkins, and son, Evan, and Jen Hopkins and children.

Abby Berggren was home to visit her parents, Bryan and Dorcas Berggren, over the Easter weekend. She attended the track meet in Holly Saturday to watch her cousin, Alex, compete.

Several people attended the track meets Friday and Saturday and cheered on our athletes. Could hardly believe the nice weather they had - everyone came home sunburned.

Week before last, Mikayla (Schmidt) Perales from Lincoln, Nebraska, visited her parents, Kelvin and Amy Schmidt. She also attended some of her brother, Alex's, baseball games while here.

Tim Leman joined Kelvin, Amy and Alex for Easter Sunday dinner.

Larry and Judy Tuttle attended Food Friday service at the Christian Church in Eads put on by the Ministerial Alliance.

Last Thursday evening, a large crowd enjoyed the dinner theater at Plainview School. The food was good, and the play went well. They had a pie auction at intermission time to raise funds for the end of school year trip for the Plainview students. Something different/lots of fun.

The junior class at Plainview will be very busy this week. They are decorating for the prom which will be held Saturday, April 26, at the KA Hall in Sheridan Lake. Everyone is welcome to come to the Grand March, which will be at 8:00 p.m. The crowning of King and Queen will take place after the Grand March.

Have a great week!!
