Well, harvest is in full swing in our area. I hear the yields are very good in most places. Hope the good weather holds until it is all done, and everyone has a safe harvest.

A large crowd enjoyed the potluck supper, parade and fireworks display at Sheridan Lake July 4. The weather even cooperated, with no storms. A big thank you to everyone who helps put on the celebration.

Susan Greenfield's dad, Norm, spent Sunday through Wednesday last week helping her with some odd jobs around her house. He returned to Sterling Wednesday.

A bridal shower for Alyssa Splitter was held Sunday afternoon at the Sheridan Lake Bible Church. 

Everyone enjoyed visiting and seeing all the nice gifts she received.

Our son, Mark, arrived last Wednesday and will be staying with us while helping Kelvin Schmidt with their wheat harvest.
