Funeral Services – Linda Kay Cochran

Linda Kay Cochran 

April 10, 1946 - August 19, 2019

A celebration of life memorial service for lifelong Lamar resident Linda Kay Cochran, affectionately known as Kay, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 23, 2019, at the Lamar Christian Church with Ian Blacker officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Fairmount Cemetery. 

Per Kay’s request cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. 

Kay was born April 10, 1946, at Lamar to Wayne and Twyla (Lucille) Van Skike, and passed away August 19, 2019, at the Denver Hospice at the age of 73. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Lisa Ramirez; and her siblings, Bill Van Skike and Sandy Reifschneider. 

Kay is survived by her daughter, Kami (Cory) Adolf of Greeley; and her grandchildren, Neva and Carson Adolf of Greeley,  John Westin (Teri) Ellis of Eads, and Joseph Ramirez of Lamar. She is also survived by her first husband, Glenn Shepard, and her second husband, Virgil Cochran, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kay Cochran Memorial fund in care of the funeral home office.
