Gene C. Lynn was born December 18, 1928, in Eads to James and Claire (Groves) Lynn. Gene passed away July 15, 2025, in Springfield; he was 96 years old.

Funeral services will be held July 24, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at the Springfield Methodist Church, located at 901 Colorado Street, Springfield, Colorado. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Eads Cemetery, County Road 41, Eads, Colorado.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution to Springfield Methodist Church, or LTCC Alzheimer's Unit, Southeast Colorado Hospital District, 373 E. 10th Avenue, Springfield, Colorado 81073. Please indicate "In Memory of Gene C. Lynn" on any contribution.
