Air Quality Control Enterprise
The Commission develops and maintains a comprehensive program for the prevention and control of air pollution in Colorado. The major goal of this program is to meet national ambient air quality standards.

Board of Trustees for Western Colorado University
The Board of Trustees for Western Colorado University makes policy for the school and oversees its operation.

Clean Transit Enterprise
The Clean Transit Enterprise reduces and mitigates the adverse environmental and health impacts of air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions produced by motor vehicles.

Colorado Health Facilities Authority Board of Directors
The purpose of the Colorado Health Facilities Authority is to enable health institutions in the state to refund or refinance outstanding indebtedness and to provide additional facilities and structures which are needed to promote the health and welfare of the people of the state.

Colorado Medical Board
The Colorado Medical Board reviews applications for medical licenses. In cases involving any professional or ethical violations of the Medical Practices Act, the board holds hearings and assists the state’s district attorneys in the prosecution of all persons, firms, associations, or corporations charged with improper conduct.

Colorado State Fair Authority Board of Commissioners
The Colorado State Fair Authority Board of Commissioners is a corporate body, a political subdivision of the state. The Board directs and supervises the Colorado State Fair and Industrial Exposition. The Fair is held annually at Pueblo for the display of livestock and agricultural, horticultural, industrial, mining, recreational, educational and scientific products of the State of Colorado.

Colorado State University Board of Governors
The Board of Governors of the Colorado State University System is the governing board for Colorado State University System. The Board makes policy for the school and oversees its operation.

Court Security Cash Fund
The main goal of the Commission is to provide supplemental funding for ongoing security for the state court facilities in various capacities (staffing, equipment, training, etc).

- Commissioner Arlan Van Ry of Alamosa, Colorado, to serve as a representative of an association that represents county commissioners who are recommended by the association, reappointed.
State Board of Community Colleges and Occupational Education
The Board is the governing body for the thirteen-state community college system and the coordinating body for the two local district colleges. It also regulates and coordinates the activities of area vocational schools.

State Board of Optometry
The State Board of Optometry sets rules and regulations for administering examinations and conducts hearings to revoke, suspend, deny or reissue licenses.

State Board of Social Work Examiners
The Board licenses social workers in Colorado and conducts hearings concerning complaints against licensed social workers.

Substance Abuse Trend and Response Task Force
The Task Force will examine the prevention, intervention, and treatment of the abuse of methamphetamine and treatment of the abuse of methamphetamine and to examine the production and distribution of methamphetamine, strengthen the laws concerning methamphetamine, and make an appropriation.

- Sheriff Jaime FitzSimons of Breckenridge, Colorado, to serve as a representative of the criminal justice system and Vice-Chair, reappointed;

Transportation Commission
The Transportation Commission formulates general policy for the Colorado Department of Transportation with respect to the management, construction and maintenance of public highways and other transportation systems in the state. The Commission also works to assure that the preservation and enhancement of Colorado’s environment, safety, mobility and economics is considered in the planning of all transportation projects.

Workforce Development Council
The Council consists of representatives of the business community and state agencies. The Council, in consultation with the business community and state agencies, shall advise the Governor on matters regarding the employment and training needs of the state and on workforce development plans and strategy.

Judicial Nominating Commissions
There is a judicial district nominating commission for each of Colorado’s 23 judicial districts that select nominees for district and county judicial vacancies. Each district nominating commission is chaired by a justice of the Supreme Court, who is a non-voting member of the commission. Attorney appointments are a joint appointment by the Governor, Chief Justice, and Attorney General.
