Governor Polis appoints Sarah E. Stout to 17th Judicial District Court

Colorado Governor Jared Polis has appointed Sarah E. Stout to fill a vacancy on the 17th Judicial District Court. The vacancy was created by the retirement of the Honorable Robert W. Kiesnowski Jr. and is effective July 1, 2023. 

Stout is Senior Lead Deputy District Attorney in the 17th Judicial District, a position she has held since 2021. Her practice consists of criminal prosecution.

Previously, she was Senior Deputy District Attorney (2017-2021) and Deputy District Attorney (2013-2017) in the 17th Judicial District; and Law Clerk for District Court Magistrate Carolyn Pannell in the 8th Judicial District (2013).

Stout earned her B.A. from Colorado State University in 2009 and her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2012.
