Effective Saturday, January 30, at 4:00 p.m., Kiowa County moved from Orange to Yellow on the COVID-19 Dial

The main changes are: 

• RESTAURANTS: Indoor capacity increases to 50% capacity or 50 people, whichever is fewer 
• GYMS/FITNESS: 50% Capacity or 50 people whichever is fewer, organized sports 25-person cap per activity 
• INDOOR EVENTS: 50% Capacity or 100 people, whichever is fewer as long as social distancing is maintained 
• OUTDOOR EVENTS: 50% or 175 people, whichever is fewer as long as social distancing can be maintained with 6 feet between par-ties. 

This means that school sports spectators can increase to 100 people. 

Keep up the good work Kiowa County! Continue testing when needed, stay home when you are sick, wash your hands frequently, social distance and wear your face covering!
