NOTICE OF ELECTION

TOWN OF KIT CARSON

MUNICIPAL ELECTION

The Town of Kit Carson is seeking nominations for the Tuesday April 2, 2024, municipal election on 3 trustee positions. The Terms up for election are Trustee Jason Dechant, Trustee Richard Gekeler and Trustee Matthew Randel. All these positions are for 4-year terms.

Qualifications for office are:

• be a citizen of the United States
• be registered to vote
• be at least 18 years old on the date of the election
• have resided in the Town of Kit Carson for at least 12 consecutive months prior to the election

Nomination petitions may be picked up at the Kit Carson Town Hall at 301 Main Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. beginning on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, and must be returned by Monday, January 22, 2024, by 5:00 p.m.

All petitions must be signed by registered voters living within the Town of Kit Carson.
