Weekend outlook

Behind the front, high pressure rebuilds. Monday is sunny with a high near 85, and Tuesday stays sunny with a high near 82. Overnight lows settle in the 40s under clear to mostly clear skies, and winds remain light.

Extended outlook

Dry, sunny weather looks to persist through Monday and Tuesday, with highs in the low to mid-80s and light winds. Forecasters note continued mild temperatures into the new week as the upper-level pattern flattens out.

Fire weather

Cheyenne County is not under a fire weather watch or warning, and the Goodland forecast office reports no active Red Flag Warnings. Fire danger across the region typically concentrates farther east, near the Colorado-Kansas border. Dry fuels still call for routine caution with outdoor burning during breezy afternoons.
