- GOCO Trust Fund awarded the Town of Sheridan Lake $81,437 in lottery proceeds to develop an outdoor recreation facility next to Kiowa Albright Memorial Center.

- Towner Tales- Marjorie Osborn: Five boys from Kansas were stranded during the snow Friday and spent the night in the Max Huddleston home.
- Eads will be out to retain its number 1 state ranking and extend its winning streak over the past two years to 27 straight.

- People are invited to the opening of the newly constructed Towner Community Hall in the east part of town on land donated by R.O. Scott.
