Town of Eads Regular Council Meeting March 10, 2026 

The meeting was called to order by Pro Tern mayor Dennis Pearson at 5:00 P.M.

Roll call was taken by Robin Fox. Those council members present are Junior McDowell, Tim Trosper, Kathy McCracken, Stephanie Sewell, Webster Hogue Absent. 

Guest present were Beth Bell and Mary Eikner

Public Comment- Eric Pearson wanted to bring up cars on the streets that do not have currents tags again and how much revenue that could bring into the town if we would enforce them into getting them tagged. He also wants to help with getting a management plan for the town. He wants the town cleaned up. 

MINUTES 

Stephanie Sewell, made a motion to approve the February minutes that were presented. Junior McDowell seconded the motion. All Ayes 

APPROVAL OF BILLS 

A motion was made by Kathy McCracken to approve the bills and seconded by Tim Trosper. All Ayes. 

OLD BUSINESS

The attorney needs a right of refusal from the county to go forward on the contract for the airport. 

NEW BUSINESS 

Junior McDowell made a motion to approve resolution 420 for the budget to add the $40,000, Seconded by Kathy McCracken. All Ayes 

Beth Bell: Wanted to talk about the drainage issue in front of the hospital and would like to get engineering involved and get it all fixed and fixed across the street to the new clinic. Trent will call the town's engineers at GMS and have them come down and see what they think and then we will get with Doug Uhland on the hospital board and let him know what they are thinking, needs to be done to help with the drainage. 

Bring up Items: Trent told the board about the mini excavator that he had found and the side by side the board all agreed to get the mini excavator ordered and they gave him permission to get the side by side with a cap of $15,000 for the side by side. Stephanie Sewell made the motion, and Kathy McCracken seconded the motion. All ayes 

Dennis Peasron brought up wanting to do free clean-up days again. He was going to go and talk to the county again and ask them about this.
