NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC

The Town of Eads would like to remind everyone residing within the town limits that you must get building permits for all new buildings, including carports, sheds, storage units, porches. Anything new going out or up must have a permit. If you have a shed and build onto it, you must still get a permit, no matter how big the addition is.

All dogs living within the town limits must have town tags. To obtain tags, you must show proof of the rabies certificate. Town tags cost $5.00.

We have had a complaint about all the untagged vehicles sitting on the streets. There is an ordinance stating all vehicles must have current tags to sit on the public streets. This includes trailers, RV’s and campers. You can park these on your property just off the street.

Also please remember you cannot tell people they cannot park in front of your business or house, streets are public and they can park anywhere as long as they have current tags.

Only the Town of Eads employees are allowed to open water pits. Call the town hall 719-438-5590. There is someone on call 24/7 for emergencies.
